RECIPE: SMOKEY CAULIFLOWER TACOS WITH OFF-PISTE PROVISIONS ORIGINAL TOPPERS

Summer, the ideal season to taco up, and Off-Piste Provisions has got your back. These Smokey Cauliflower Tacos mean business, with that bold smokey kick, while Original Toppers deliver that gritty crunch. Whether you're beach bumming or backyard barbecuing, these tacos areΒ the summer flavour you need. Β  SMOKEY CAULIFLOWER TACOS WITH OFF-PISTE PROVISIONS ORIGINAL TOPPERS Β  INGREDIENTSΒ  Makes approximately 8 tacos Main ingredients: 1/2 large head of cauliflower, cut into small, bite-sized florets.Large shallot or 1/4 red onion, cut into slivers1/2 red bell pepper, dicedHandful of fresh lettuce1/3 cup Off-Piste Provisions Original Toppers or Smokey Bacon Toppers8 Corn tortillas Β  Marinade: 2 TBSP olive oil1 TBSP lemon juice1 tsp ground cumin1/2 tsp sweet paprika1/4 tsp smoked paprika1/4 tsp coriander1/2 tsp sugarSalt & pepper to taste Β  Yoghurt Sauce: 1/3 cup vegan yoghurt1 TBSP lemon juice1/2 tsp maple syrup1 tsp nutritional yeastPinch of salt Β  METHOD 1.)In a bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients. Cook shallots / onion until fragrant, 2-3 minutes. Set aside 2.) In a greased pot or pan, start by searing the cauliflower on high heat until nicely browned / charred on the outside. Lower heat and add the marinade mix as well as shallots/onions to cauliflower. Cook further until the cauliflower is tender or slightly al dente. Adjust seasoning as needed. 3.) Mix together yoghurt sauce ingredients with a little whisk until well combined. 4.) Heat tacos in a lightly greased pan. Dress the tacos with the lettuce, cauliflower, bell peppers, Off-Piste Provisions Original Toppers and yoghurt sauce. Garnish with your preferred ingredients, such as toasted pumpkin seeds, smoked tabasco, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and chopped coriander.

TheΒ perfect comfort food to warm you up on those cold rainy days. A cozy indulgence of creamy mushroom pasta amped up with Off-Piste Provisions Smokey Bacon Toppers. Β  CREAMY MUSHROOM PASTAΒ WITH OFF-PISTE PROVISIONSΒ SMOKEY BACON TOPPERS Serves 2 INGREDIENTSΒ  Makes approximately 2 portions Your favourite pasta*1 large shallot, minced2 garlic cloves, mincedOlive oil for frying200g brown mushrooms, sliced1/2 cup coconut cream1/2 teaspoon brown sugar1/2 teaspoon vegetable broth powder1 teaspoon nutritional yeastCracked pepper and salt to taste1/4 cup (or more…) of Off Piste-Provisions Smokey Bacon ToppersΒ Β  Optional to serve: thyme, oregano or your favourite herb *our favourite gluten-free pasta options are San Remo made with red lentil or brown rice, or Ceres Organic rice and quinoa pasta (available at Countdown) Β  METHOD 1.) In some olive oil, fry the shallot on medium heat until brown and fragrant 2-3 min. Add garlic for an extra minute. Set aside. 2.) Fry up the mushrooms until most of the water has evaporated and mushrooms have become brown and slightly charred. 3.) Turn down heat a little before adding coconut cream with a dash of water to thin. Season with remaining ingredients: brown sugar, vegetable broth powder, nutritional yeast, salt and cracked black pepper. Keep stirring for a couple of minutes, while adding water if needed to keep desired consistency. 4.) Cook pasta as per packet directions and mix into the sauce. Add Off-Piste Provisions Smokey Bacon Toppers. Serve with fresh thyme, oregano or your favourite herb. Β  Β

RECIPE: VEGGIE RICE PAPER BITES WITH OFF-PISTE PROVISIONS SWEET & HOT TOPPERS

The fusion of vibrant veggies and zesty kick from Off-Piste Provision Sweet & Hot Toppers will make your taste buds stand at attention. Packed with a punch of protein and an explosion of flavors, it's the ideal choice for a hearty lunch or a satisfying dinner. Β  VEGGIE RICE PAPER BITES WITH OFF-PISTE PROVISIONS SWEET & HOT TOPPERS Serves 6 INGREDIENTSΒ  12 medium rice paper sheetsVegetable cooking oil200g mushrooms, chopped into small pieces1 TBSP ginger, grated2 large garlic cloves, grated or minced100g carrots, grated100g cabbage, shredded1 tsp coconut sugar1 TBSP soy sauce1 TBSP sesame oil1/2 TBSP rice wine vinegarWhite pepper to taste1/4 cup of Off-Piste Provisions Sweet & Hot Toppers (or other flavour of choice)2 spring onions, chopped Dipping sauce options: hoisin sauce, dumpling soy sauce, spicy laoganma, Chinese black vinegar Β  METHOD 1.) On medium heat, fry mushroom in a bit of oil until cooked through and most water has evaporated. Set aside. 2.) Fry up ginger and garlic until fragrant - about 1 min. Add in carrots and cabbage. Keep cooking for a couple of more minutes until lightly cooked. Add the rest of the seasonings: coconut sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar and white pepper to taste. 3.) Finally add in your Off-Piste Provisions Sweet & Hot Toppers. 4.) In a bowl of warm-hot water, soak a rice paper sheet until it becomes soft and malleable. Lay flat on a chopping board or plate. Add two heaped tablespoons of veggie filling in the centre of paper sheet. Wrap by folding all four sides into a rectangular or square shape (see video). Wrap again in a second sheet of rice paper. 5.) In a greased pan on medium to high heat, sear the wraps on each side, approx 5min until crispy (make sure they don’t touch one another as they will otherwise stick). Remove excess oil by wrapping for a couple of seconds in a kitchen paper towel. 6.) Garnish with spring onions, sesame seeds and more Off-Piste Provisions Toppers! Serve with preferred sauce, hoisin, laoganma, soy sauce and/or black vinegar. Β
